General

1. The Modern Agriculture Foundation website (hereinafter: "the Website") is owned and operated by the Modern Agriculture Foundation (hereinafter: "the Foundation"). The Website is accessible at www.maf.org.il.

2. The Modern Agriculture Foundation is a non-profit organization that promotes technological innovation in agriculture and food, with a focus on developing sustainable solutions and advancing women in the food-tech industry in Israel.

3. The purpose of the Website is to provide information about the Foundation's activities, update on projects and innovation programs, and enable the public to learn about, support, and join the Foundation's initiatives, including making donations to fund its operations.

4. The Foundation makes the Website available to you, the user, subject to your agreement to these terms and conditions (hereinafter: "the User" and "the Terms"). These Terms apply to all content on the Website and any related web pages.

5. By using the Website, including browsing, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree to the Terms, please refrain from using the Website and exit it immediately.

6. The Foundation reserves the right to update the Website interface and modify these Terms at any time, at its sole discretion and without prior notice to users.

 

Use of the Website

1. The User declares that they are legally capable of performing binding legal actions. If the User is a minor (under 18 years of age) or lacks legal capacity to perform actions without the approval of a guardian, use of the Website will be considered as having received such approval.

2. The Foundation reserves the right to prevent access to the Website or any part of it to any individual or group for any reason, or without reason, at its sole discretion.

3. The Foundation may discontinue the Website's activities, modify the services offered on the Website, or limit access at any time without prior notice.

 

Donations

1. The Website allows users to donate to the Foundation through a one-time donation or a recurring monthly donation via credit card.

2. Users are required to provide their personal details and credit card information to complete a donation.

3. A donation will be finalized only after the transaction is approved by the credit card company.

4. Users have the right to cancel a donation in accordance with applicable laws.

 

Limitation of Liability

1. The Foundation strives to provide accurate and up-to-date information on the Website, but errors, inaccuracies, or omissions may occur.

2. The Foundation is not liable for any damage resulting from the use of the Website, including indirect, financial, or other damages.

 

Copyrights

1. All content on the Website, including graphic design, texts, and images, is the property of the Foundation and is protected by copyright laws.

2. No content from the Website may be copied, reproduced, or distributed without prior written permission from the Foundation.

Terms and Conditions for MAF's website community platform

1. General

Use of the Modern Agriculture Foundation (“the Foundation”) website, purchasing tickets for events and conferences, and joining the community are subject to acceptance of these terms, as well as the website’s Terms of Use and Privacy Policy.

Joining the community requires submitting a membership application and agreeing to these terms, which define your rights and obligations as a community member operated by the Foundation. By joining, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these terms, which constitute a binding agreement between you and the Foundation. If you do not agree to these terms, you should refrain from participating in community activities offered through the website.

2. Membership Types

a. Executive Membership: May provide benefits and discounts for certain events at the Foundation’s discretion, along with the right to create a personal profile on the Foundation’s website (“the Website”).
b. Membership is subject to eligibility criteria, such as age and relevant professional background, as well as submitting a membership application via the Foundation’s website, approval by the Foundation, and payment of an annual membership fee if applicable.

c. The Foundation reserves the right to approve or reject membership applications at its sole discretion and is not obligated to provide reasons for its decisions.

d. Once membership is approved, members must create a personal profile on the Foundation’s website and ensure that all details are accurate and updated as needed.

3. Membership Duration and Renewal

a. Membership remains valid unless a membership fee is introduced, in which case membership will only be confirmed upon payment. As of January 2025, no membership fee is required.

4. Member Obligations

a. Members are prohibited from posting any illegal content, including defamatory content, privacy violations, intellectual property infringements, or content that harms other community members or the Foundation.
b. Members are solely responsible for the content they publish and agree to indemnify the Foundation for any damages, losses, or claims arising from unauthorized use of the Foundation’s platforms. This includes covering legal expenses, in addition to any other remedies or compensation due to damages caused to the Foundation.
c. Any content posted from a member’s account is presumed to have been published by them unless proven otherwise.
d. The Foundation may remove or restrict inappropriate content at its discretion and take legal action as necessary to maintain community standards.

5. Confidentiality and Privacy

a. Members are prohibited from sharing personal details or information about other members without prior consent.
b. The Foundation commits to taking reasonable measures to protect members' privacy but cannot guarantee absolute protection against unauthorized access or misuse of information.

6. Community Activity Termination

a. The Foundation reserves the right to terminate community activities for any reason with a 30-day prior notice to members.

7. Governing Law

a. These terms are governed exclusively by Israeli law.

b. In case of a dispute, the parties will first attempt mediation. If mediation fails, the dispute will be resolved through arbitration under Israeli law, within the jurisdiction of (City).

8. Amendments to the Terms

a. The Foundation reserves the right to amend these terms from time to time. In the event of a significant change, members will be notified accordingly.

9. Notifications

a. Any notifications sent to members via email or phone will be considered received within 48 hours of dispatch.

 

By submitting a membership application, you confirm your acceptance of all terms, including membership conditions, website and platform policies, membership cancellation policies, and data security terms, and agree to comply with them.
